Monthly Solidarity Space

Our monthly solidarity space is a community space for sharing experiences of police violence and seeking support and collective care with people who may have shared experiences or advice to give and for building community resistance and campaigns.
It was founded in recognition of the need for community care infrastructure. In 2025, a group of bereaved family members from the End Police Pursuits (EPP) campaign, community members as well as activists and supporters decided that we needed a regular space to come together and we have continued to grow ever since then.
Members of the EPP Campaign and NPMP work together to host these regular community-led spaces for support, connection and solidarity as a response to the violence and injustice that the state produces.
These sessions are informal, and welcome anyone surviving and resisting police and state violence.
Community Solidarity
NPMP is in relationship with various groups locally, nationally, and internationally. We believe it is important to be in solidarity with others, as it strengthens our movements, informs our work, and facilitates coalitional and partnership efforts. In these collaborations, we commit to upholding the same standards of care that guide our internal work.
We recognise that not every organisation will share all of our principles, but we seek to work with groups that are committed to care, accountability, and practices broadly consistent with our values. We remain in communication with each other around the work we do with other groups. Our collaboration with other groups is grounded in long-term relationship building based on shared values and aims.
